On June 30 we celebrated a very special day in Deilor on the occasion of the International Day of Cooperatives. During the event we had the opportunity to inaugurate the summer season, highlighting the success of last winter’s campaign, and to bid farewell to our colleague Antonio López Ibarra, who was presented with a plaque for his impeccable work and eight-year career as a field technician. There was also a meal at the Deilor facilities that culminated in the performance of El Camarote de los Hermanos Marx, who enlivened the party with the best music.

The International Day of Cooperatives is important to Deilor, as we celebrate the values ​​and principles that make cooperatives a transforming force in our communities and in the world. Cooperatives are companies based on solidarity, equity and democratic participation, and play a fundamental role in promoting sustainable development and building an equitable future.

Cooperatives cover a wide range of sectors. Its diversity demonstrates its ability to adapt to the needs and aspirations of different groups of people, whether they are workers, consumers, farmers or any other type of cooperative. In addition, they are committed to social, economic and environmental sustainability, prioritizing job creation and environmental protection.
