In 1970 Zvi Karchi crossed the Cantaloupe and Honeydew melon varieties. Its name means “wave” in Israelite, they could not have chosen a better name.

It is characterised by a very sweet taste in a small size. That’s why it’s perfect to take to the beach or any summer outing.
